Welcome
to Photoluma landscape imagery by Paul Marsch
Photoluma aims to provide easy searchable access
to a wide and growing range of UK landscape photography from
the camera and imagination of award winning photographer Paul
Marsch LRPS.
About Photoluma
photographer Paul Marsch
Paul Marsch is an award winning UK landscape
photographer and member of the Royal Photographic Society. In
2007 Paul was a finalist and category winner in the Sunday Times/Light
& Land Landscape Photographer of the Year competition, winning
the award for 'Best Mountain Image'. Paul was also a finalist
in the 'Phone View' category of the same competition, and separately
reached the finals of the UK Association of Photographers 2007
Open Competition. Paul's work has been featured in two books
and in Outdoor Photography, and Digital Camera magazines. In
addition, Paul supplies images to a range of clients in the
magazine and calendar publishing industry.
Based in the south-east, Paul travels widely
on photography assignments within the UK. His photography aims
to reflect the best of our beautiful landscape through the use
of composition, colour, and light. Paul is also aware that publishers
may have widely differing requirements for photographic images
of the UK landscape. As such, the Photoluma stock library also
features a range of images more suitable for the publishing
industry (for example when consideration needs to be given to
space for copy, headlines, titles etc.).
Paul's approach to photography acknowledges
the strengths and weaknesses of both film and digital technologies,
with Paul prefering to choose the best technology for a given
project or image. When time and conditions allow, and when aiming
for the very highest quality imagery for large fine art photogrpahic
prints, Paul would typically resort to Large Format film equipment.
When conditions demand it, Paul will turn to professional quality
Canon DSLRs and L series lenses. He is available for commissions
in the UK and abroad. Please

Viewing
Digital Images Online
- When you view digital images on a web site many
factors affect the colour, tone and brightness of the
image you see
- For example, your monitor settings for white point
and gamma, and RGB alterations you have made....
- ...and even the type of light falling on the monitor
can all affect the colours you see on the screen.
- Printed Photoluma images may therefore look different
from the image you see on your monitor
- To improve colour accuracy when viewing images online
we suggest profiling your montior with the following
settings
- Colour temperature = 6500K, gamma = 2.2, white point
= 100cd/m2
- Ultimately we believe you will be very happy with
images purchased from this site.
- Our refund policy is described below.
